COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- More snow is on the way to central Ohio.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for counties north of Columbus, including Delaware, Hardin, Knox, Licking, Logan, Marion, and Morrow Counties.

"Areas of freezing rain and sleet will begin late this afternoon causing a glaze of ice on many roads. The evening rush hour will be impacted by this," said ABC 6 meteorologist Dana Turtle. "The freezing rain and sleet will switch over to snow by this evening.  About 1-2" of snow is expected in Columbus with 2-4" of snow falling north of Columbus."

The next concern will actually be flooding. Temperatures are expected to warm up later in the week. That will help melt off all our snow, but it also comes with rain. All that moisture could push rivers and streams out of their banks quickly.

"Rain looks very likely on Thursday with highs reaching the upper 50s," Turtle said.
