CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (WTVN) -- A drug raid in Pickaway County has connections with a similar raid in Ross County that began with the accidental shooting of a woman who later died.

Five people were arrested at the Relax Inn in Circleville Thursday night. Agents with the U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force were able to purchase drugs like heroin and crack cocaine. They then tracked the suspects back to the Relax Inn.

Raymond Tackett, Jr and his girlfriend Ashley Rowley along with Darrell West, Garrett Craig, and Brandy Craig were all arrested. Pickaway County Sheriff Robert Radcliff says many of those suspects were also arrested in last week's drug raid near the Ross - Pike County line.

Krystal Barrows was found on the living room couch with a head wound when deputies raided a home on U.S. 23 in southern Ross County on December 11. An investigation revealed that the weapon of Sgt. Brett McKnight had gone off outside the home. The bullet went through a wall and struck Barrows, who later died at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
