PLAIN CITY, Ohio (AP) --A Columbus man who State Highway Patrol troopers say ran over his 4-year old son now faces of a charge of failure to exchange information after an accident.

Natividad de Jesus Hernandez, 30, was to have appeared in court Friday, but it was postponed because of a language barrier.

According to the Highway Patrol, Hernandez's son Angel fell out the van his father was driving Thursday morning near a construction site in Union County. Troopers say the boy was run over by the vehicle and taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

His father remained at the accident scene for a while, then drove off.  He was arrested later.
