CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WTVN) -- A traffic stop in downtown Chillicothe led to the discovery of a box full of marijuana late Friday night.

A Ross County Sheriff's deputy was just beginning his shift just after 11 p.m. when he noticed a man commit a traffic violation at the intersection of Water St. and North Mulberry St.

After stopping the vehicle, the deputy noticed a box in the backseat. It contained over 4 pounds of marijuana in plastic bags.

David Tatman, 43, was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana.
