Bob Dylan is coming out with his first book in 18 years.
Simon & Schuster says the new book "The Philosophy of Modern Song" will include more than 60 essays by Dylan about the songwriting process, by analyzing the works of other composers including Hank Williams, Nina Simone, and Elvis Costello.
It's Dylan's first book since his "Chronicles Vol. 1," which was published in 2004.
In 2016, he received a Nobel Prize for literature.
"The Philosophy of Modern Song" comes out November 8th.
Bob Dylan is currently on tour supporting his latest album "Rough and Rowdy Ways."
