If you want to feel better about the world, look at what Airbnb and its community are doing for Ukrainians. Since March 2nd, when the company started a creative campaign to have people rent spaces in Ukraine, use rentals for the refugees, and raise money, the totals are mind-boggling.

The latest total for people booking stays in the war-torn country, that they don’t intend on using, is at nearly 450-thousand! As far as rentals being opened up to refugees, over 21-thousand are open in Europe and even North America.

And that’s not all. Over $40-million has been raised to bring humanitarian aid to the country. The money will be used to help house and give necessities to the refugees.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz Foundation is teaming with Airbnb to open up over 32-thousand nights of temporary housing for refugees. That’s 200-percent of the capacity of their arena.

Airbnb hosts that want to help need only register on the Airbnb.org Help Ukraine page or book a stay you don’t have to go to in Ukraine!
