Cavs Fizzle Out After Strong Start

The Cleveland Cavaliers wasted a dominant first quarter in their 131-120 loss to LeBron James and the Lakers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The Cavs led by as many as 14 points in the first quarter but trailed for the entire second half as James scored 38 points and had a triple-double against his former team.

Darius Garland had 29 points and 17 assists in the loss. Cleveland falls to 41-and-31 and remains in sixth-place in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavs visit the Raptors on Thursday.
