A rare copy of a 1939 Marvel comic book is going to a new home for a hefty price.
ComicConnect said a "pay copy" of Marvel Comics #1 sold for more than two-point-four-million dollars at auction.
It features the first appearances of Namor the Sub-Mariner and the Human Torch.
The copy is called a pay copy because it has notes about how much was owed to contributors.
