The police in Oceanside, California, are handing out cash at local gas stations as part of their Random Acts of Kindness Program.
“We are giving random acts of kindness this month at local gas stations to help drivers with the pain of rising fuel costs” the department posted on Facebook.
The giveaway is possible because of a donation from a local family that allows the department to perform random acts of kindness throughout the year.
