Last week at the Las Vegas resort casino The Cosmopolitan, it was announced that each of the resort's 54-hundred employees would be getting a $5-thousand bonus.
Cosmopolitan executives praised the employees for their work during the pandemic and said, "It's you, every single day, that makes a difference."
The bonuses total more than $27-million and arrive just ahead of a planned $1.6-billion sale of the resort to casino giant MGM Resorts International.
