After graduating from high school, Mike Huss got a job as a janitor at Ione Elementary School about an hour southwest of Sacramento, but couldn’t see himself as a teacher.
His friends and family thought otherwise and encouraged him to return to school and get his teaching degree, which he did, eventually becoming a teacher and now a principal.
Huss hopes his inspirational journey can provide motivation for his students to achieve their own goals.
