A 30-year-old woman was walking alone early in the morning in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood when a man grabbed her and started pulling her toward his car.
Fortunately, a dog walker nearby witnessed the attempted abduction, confronted the would-be kidnapper, and shot pepper spray at him as he fled in the vehicle.
The good Samaritan later told reporters that he didn’t want to be named, didn’t want to be called a hero, and said the attempted abduction is “a parent’s worst nightmare.”
