Human Heart Found On Salt Pile At Tennessee Government Facility

Workers at the Transportation Department salt facility in McEwen, Tennessee, found a human heart while getting ready for winter weather to move into the area. The heart was tested after it was found, and the state medical examiner’s office in Nashville confirmed that it was a human heart taken from an adult male.

Officials have declared the site a crime scene and are treating it like a homicide. Witnesses that saw the heart say it looked like it had been surgically removed from the body, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a statement they’re trying to find out where the salt in the barn was delivered from.
