A woman got worried about her cat after a veterinarian said the pet’s breathing was too fast. This started Abigail Laker on a months-long series of trips to the vet for tests, and by the time she was told what was wrong with her cat Moose, she had spent around $12,500.
What was the problem? According to a specialist vet, Moose is “just a bit weird” and completely healthy. “It’s definitely typical of her to be that dramatic,” Laker said, “she’s decided to be a cat that pants.”
