On what would have been Lisa Marie Presley’s 55th birthday, her mother Priscilla Presley is defending her actions since the late singer’s death. As we recently told you, Priscilla launched an almost immediate challenge to her daughter’s will. But the grieving mom insists she’s continuing to do what’s best for her family.
“My wish is to protect my three grandchildren and keep our family together,” said Priscilla in a statement. “From the first moment I held Lisa in my arms, I’ve protected, loved, and guided her, as I have my son.” The actor and businesswoman recently discovered a provision in Lisa Marie’s will from 2106 that cut her mother out, and insiders say Priscilla’s challenging of the will is “a money grab.”
