You might suspect squirrels, but that wasn’t the guilty party when a pest control company found over 700 pounds of acorns inside the walls of a home in Glen Ellen, California.
Nick’s Extreme Pest Control says that a woodpecker was making holes in the walls of the house to store food, but the acorns kept falling into the spaces in the walls.
The homeowners are adding vinyl siding to the home to make it more challenging for the bird to use their home as storage. The hope is she will pick another spot.
