Pawl Ruff, a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, gained fame on social media for his resemblance to actor Paul Rudd. After being taken in by the Collierville Animal Shelter in Tennessee, Pawl was adopted by Jennifer Roy, who named him Rowdy.
“I had been looking for a dog and was following different shelters in the area," Roy said. "When I saw him, I thought, ‘That’s my dog.' The story blew up and I was worried someone would come get my dog!” Roy shared.
Despite the media coverage and efforts to grab Paul Rudd's attention, Roy was able to adopt Pawl; she had been looking for him after following different shelters in the area.
