An unborn baby is at the center of a legal dispute in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Natalia Harrell is pregnant and in prison, and a lawyer for her unborn baby filed a petition last week to get the child released from jail.
He says the unborn child is a person under the Florida constitution, has not been charged with a crime, and is being deprived of liberty without due process.
There's no word on when the issue might be resolved.
The 24-year-old Harrell is charged with second-degree murder for shooting a woman to death last summer.
