The upcoming series “Citadel,” produced by the Russo Brothers, has released its first trailer. The show follows two elite spies, Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), who had their memories wiped after their organization was destroyed by a powerful syndicate called Manticore.
The spies reunite to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.
The show has reportedly been plagued by “cost overruns and creative differences,” resulting in just six episodes for its first season. The show premieres on April 28 on Amazon Prime.
