Doorbell camera footage showed a woman walking onto the porch of Katelyn Jarvis and Jim Goepferich last week, moving the patio furniture, then gently folding up their rug and leaving with it.
The couple filed a police report but had to contact the police again a week later when the same woman showed back up and neatly placed the rug back on their porch with a note.
The woman apologized in the note, saying she was “trying to pick up a free rug from a Craiglist offer” and went to the wrong place.
