Carjacker Learns Skateboards Are No Match When Cops Have Cars

In Los Angeles, a suspected carjacker, Pedro Villalobos, abruptly ditched the pick-up truck he’d allegedly stolen…and opted for a skateboard.

Police video shows officers chasing after the truck, which had a trailer in tow when things didn’t work out as Villalobos tried to make a quick left turn.

Having lost control of the vehicle, he then jumped out of the truck and opted for the skateboard.

However, the odds weren’t in Villalobos’ favor, as police cars tend to be much faster. One officer was able to position himself further down the road the suspect was skateboarding and get in his path and push him off the board and to the ground.

Villalobos was taken to the hospital for a leg injury and booked on two counts of vehicle theft and one count of reckless evading.
