Selection is scheduled to begin in Summit County today for a special grand jury to hear evidence against eight police officers involved in the shooting death of Jayland Walker.
Walker was unarmed when shot to death following a police chase last June that ended in Akron's Firestone Park neighborhood.
Police had said that Walker failed to pull over for a traffic stop and fired a single shot at them during the pursuit.
The Ohio Attorney General's Office will present evidence against the officers being considered for charges.
