Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk attended the opening of a new skatepark in the Navajo Nation that was built with help from his foundation, The Skatepark Project.
Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren got a chance to show off his skateboarding skills to his childhood hero at the event.
Located in a remote spot in Northwest New Mexico, the park will allow local youth to develop their skateboarding abilities without having to travel far.
