Nickelback is thanking Lizzo for coming to their defense.
The band’s gotten a lot of hate over the years for their sound and they tweeted a four-year-old clip of Lizzo saying that the rockstars get “way too much s—” along with an invite.
“Thank you @lizzo for the kind words! Open invite any show any time. Maybe see you in Houston this summer?”
Back in February, frontman Chad Kroeger gave an interview and noted “All the detractors, all the haters, all the keyboard heroes, they have no idea how much they keep us in the press loop.
It’s hilarious. Those people that would love to see us go away, if they really wanted to see us go away, they would just shut up.”
