Artist and single dad, LuC'ius Allure recently turned to his 80-thousand followers on TikTok to help him get a new larger van. In a video posted earlier this week, Allure says he needs to raise $6,000 so he can buy a larger van with a pop-up tent, kitchen, and bunks for his four- and eight-year-old kids, who have been living with him in their small car for the last year. He directs viewers to a crowdfund he’s created to help them raise money.
The video received over 2 million views and more than 12,000 comments, with many viewers pledging to donate or interact with the video to boost its reach. In less than a week, the "Help us get the van" fundraiser has raised over $17,000, blowing way past the original $6,000 target.
In follow-up videos, Allure expresses gratitude for the "beautiful, sweet comments" and thanks the “kind souls” who donated. He says he’s been overwhelmed and is trying to respond to all the comments and writes “All of you beautiful & kind souls have quite literally shifted our entire reality to a place of little to a place of great abundance & from the core of our hearts, thank you!”
