As performers continue to have random things chucked at them while they’re performing onstage, Kelly Clarkson has a warning for anyone trying to do that to her. The “Since U Been Gone” singer told her audience over the weekend during her brand-new Las Vegas residency show at Planet Hollywood, “If you’re gonna throw s***, throw diamonds.”
And that wasn’t the 41-year-old pop star’s only salty quip of the evening. While entertaining the crowd at the 7,000-seat Bakkt theater, Clarkson spotted a female fan’s sign in the crowd that read, “My girlfriend gave me a hall pass for you.” The singer quickly responded, “If I was into chicks, I’d take up the offer.” As the crowd cheered, Clarkson added, that she liked the male anatomy. This line made the audience erupt in laughter and cheers.
