When you’re focused on the job at hand, you can sometimes miss small details. A road crew in Memphis missed one of those details while striping a street, and after someone drove by and took a picture of it, the dead raccoon with a white stripe painted over it by the crew is going viral online.
There was no explanation as to how no one noticed they were painting a stripe onto a carcass, but the man who took the picture of it said “The animal was maybe there for a few days by the looks of it. It’s pretty big and hard to miss.” A spokesperson for Memphis said crews were removing the striped raccoon Friday morning.
