A woman claims she used artificial intelligence to catch her boyfriend cheating. Mia Dio posted a TikTok video showing how she used AI software to replicate her boyfriend Billy’s voice and then used it on a call with one of his friends. During the conversation, Billy’s friend seemed to confirm that Billy had been kissing someone else the night before.
The most interesting part of the entire story? It wasn’t real. Dio later revealed that the entire thing was a social experiment, and both Billy and his friend were in on it. “We were surprised at the number of people who believed this happened,” Dio said, adding that she used a service called ElevenLabs to clone her boyfriend’s voice for $4.
