Actions have consequences. Some California teens will be finding that out soon.

A California mall is planning to have unattended kids and teens wear ID tags featuring their names and contact information for their parents if they are on the property after 5 p.m.

It comes after a mess at the Moreno Valley Mall last weekend. Surveillance footage from Sunday shows three fights breaking out among teens. Hundreds of people were at the mall for National Cinema Day, taking advantage of four-dollar movie tickets.

The shopping center was temporarily shut down until police could get control of the situation. Something similar happened at the Del Amo Mall in Torrance, where hundreds of teens brawled on Sunday night.

Kids who go to the Moreno Valley Mall with a parent will not have to wear an ID tag.
