Last week, actor Ryan Reynolds made a surprise visit to an eight-year-old undergoing cancer treatment at Mass General Hospital for Children in Boston. Nash, who’s being treated for a rare form of cancer, was excited to meet the actor who plays Deadpool, one of his favorite superheroes. The visit took place after Nash's mother sent Reynolds a picture of Nash's radiation mask, which was decorated to resemble Deadpool.
During the visit, Reynolds signed Nash's mask and arranged a special FaceTime call with his "Deadpool and Wolverine" co-star Hugh Jackman, so Nash could talk to both actors. The surprise left a big impression on the boy and his family, creating a memorable moment during his treatment.
Reynolds shared the experience on social media, praising the hospital staff and expressing his admiration for Nash. "Wish every kid needing treatment got it here. And I wish every parent with a sick kid could put their kid in hands this capable,” Reynolds tweeted, “Nash, you're the best. Love you, pal."
