After being married to her husband, Joseph, and having three kids together, Celina Quinones decided that she wanted to learn more about her family heritage.
So, she took a 23-and-me DNA test, but she didn’t get the results she was hoping for.
It turns out, Celina and Joseph are fifth cousins, and that made her “sick to her stomach.”
While figuring out how to process the news, Celina did the one thing you shouldn’t do…she posted a video on TikTok about it, and let the social media peanut gallery have their say, which went about as well as you might expect.
The couple is still married, and Celina has decided to do more research into her family tree. It’s worth noting that, statistically, fifth cousins only share 0.05% of DNA…and it isn’t illegal, assuming you know about it in advance.
