It’s another purebred Beagle! We champion this breed for good reasons. They’re agreeable, entertaining, and fun. They bond with their family, and they give so much love in return. They can be a bit ornery, but it just adds to their adorable character. Who could ask for anything more in a pet?
Rocky is nearing his 1-year birthdate during the upcoming holiday season with hopes of being in a home for Christmas. Purchased from a breeder, his family snuck him into a rental property that did not allow pets. When confronted, their only option was to, tearfully, surrender him to a shelter.
Confused by his new fate, 24-pound, 9-month-old Rocky misses his house and a couch. He misses the love he experienced with his family and he’s awaiting their return for him, but this will not happen. Rocky is dog-social and does well in the company of other dogs and children, too.
