DHS Secretary: Travel Ban Won't Include Legal Permanent Residents

(Washington, DC)  --  The Trump administration is allowing green card holders to be exempt from the President's executive order temporarily banning travelers from seven countries.  In a statement, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said the entry of lawful permanent residents is in the national interest.  President Trump signed an executive order Friday that barred travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries for 90 days.
