During a late-night emergency call, firefighter Marc Hadden realized the woman who called for help wouldn’t get to a hospital in time to deliver her baby. So Myrtle Beach, the South Carolina man delivered the newborn himself. And now she’s his daughter!
After Hadden helped bring the baby girl into the world that night, her mother put her up for adoption. And when he and his wife Beth found out, they decided to sign the adoption papers and bring the infant - who they named Grace - to be part of their family. Within 48 hours, the Haddens had a daughter to add to their family, which already included two sons.
“Ever since we had the boys, we knew that we wanted more children, but we knew that it wasn't possible to have any more babies,” Beth explains. "And we had it in our minds and in our hearts for years to adopt and we just left it in God's hands. We said if it's meant to be, it will be.”
