Vaping Can Increase Heart Disease Risk, Study Says

posted by @radioonthetony -

In case you missed it, a new study shows that smoking e-cigarettes – or vaping – might raise the risk of heart disease. Researchers at UCLA studied people who habitually used e-cigarettes and compared them to people who neither vaped nor smoked.

The scientists found the people who vaped showed significantly higher risk of heart disease. The average age of people in the study was 27. Many people are vaping in the hope of avoiding the health risks of tobacco cigarettes, but the study indicates vaping might not be much safer than using tobacco when it comes to heart risks.

The study is published online in "JAMA Cardiology" - to read it, CLICK HERE.
