A former military man purchased a Rolex watch in Germany by the advice of his commanding officer in 1960. He was told a Rolex was the best watch ever made and he should get one.
He ended up purchasing one before he came back to the states and kept all the box and papers. He now visited PBS's Antique Roadshow for appraisal.
