The first day of White House tours under the Trump Administration went off without a hitch yesterday, and there was a special surprise for a lucky few. The Commander-In-Chief surprised the first group of the day, dropping in for pictures near the East Wing.
Such a move isn’t unheard of - former President Barack Obama occasionally surprised visitors as well. As for former president George W. Bush, sometimes surprises visitors to his presidential library in Dallas.
The "People's House" was not open to the public for the last seven weeks while the administration worked out hiring shortages in the White House Visitor's Office.
