Even when he's not at work, Sean Spicer still gets hit with tough questions. While visiting an Apple store in Washington on over the weekend, Spicer was questioned extensively by a fellow shopper. Shree Chauhan wasn't shy about her questioning of the White House Press Secretary. She even admits she was “rude,” but says she was angry about Trump’s actions.
Beyond that, the 33-year-old says she has no regrets asking Spicer questions including: “How does it feel to work for a fascist?" Chauhan also asked Spicer about connections with Russia and even accused the President of treason. The whole encounter was caught on video and posted online.
For his part, Spicer kept his cool throughout the exchange, and thanked Chauhan for her questions. Speaking with reporters yesterday, Spicer appeared to take it all in stride. “I interact with individuals all day long. Ninety-nine percent of them are pleasant,” he noted. “But it's a free country, and the beauty of it is that people can act how they want, no matter how that's interpreted. And as long as they stay on the right side of the First Amendment, we're good.”
