Carrie Underwood Celebrates Her 100th Grand Ole Opry Performance

Carrie Underwood reached quite a milestone this past weekend. The singer performed four sold out shows at the Grand Ole Opry, marking her 100th performance at the country music institution.

“I grew up dreaming of one day performing here and maybe even becoming a member. That dream comes true over and over each time I take the Opry stage,” Underwood said. “Here’s to the next 100!”

Carrie made her first Opry appearance on June 10th, 2005 barely two weeks after her big win on “American Idol” and she became a member in 2008.

And Carrie’s celebration certainly was a sweet one. She shared pictures of her celebratory cupcake tower on Instagram, adding, “What an amazing night! Thanks to everyone who shared it with me!”
