Mercedes, Hyundai Pull Ads From "The O'Reilly Factor"

You won't be seeing ads for Mercedes-Benz or Hyundai on TV's top-rated cable news show.

The German and South Korean carmakers made the announcements after reports that 13-million dollars in settlements was paid out to five women who said host Bill O'Reilly sexually harassed or verbally abused them.

Hyundai said today that it wasn't currently advertising on O'Reilly's show and won't be running upcoming ads because of what the carmaker called "recent and disturbing allegations."

Mercedes took a similar tack yesterday when it said "given the importance of women in every aspect" of its business, O'Reilly's show isn't a good environment for advertising its products.
