Tom Brady, Gronk Have Fun With Stolen Jersey At Red Sox Opener

Well, that lasted a good seven minutes.

Just when Tom Brady thought he’d gotten back his Super Bowl 51 jersey back yesterday morning in a presentation by team Owner by Robert Kraft, it got swiped again.

Of course, unlike the elaborate plan used by Mauricio Ortega that enabled him to grab a pair of Brady Jersey’s and Von Miller’s helmet, the plan that was hatched when it was stolen moments later during the opening ceremonies of the Red Sox game at Fenway was more of a smash and grab move—or, more accurately—a smash and GRONK move.

See, when Brady and some other members of the Patriots organization took the field, with Brady was proudly wearing the recovered game jersey from Super Bowl 51, it was moments later when he took it off to show off to the crowd, teammate Rob Gronkowski came and snatched it away.

Of course, Tom didn’t need three law enforcement agencies to get this jersey back, just three seconds to chase down Gronk.

And really the only thing that could have made it funnier would be if the “Benny Hill” theme were playing at Fenway.

Oh and not surprisingly, Brady got one more gift on the day—a Red Sox opening day win, as the BoSox defeated the Pirates 5-3.
