Is Nickelodeon looking to bring Amanda Bynes back? Depends on whom you ask. A source told Page Six says that the network that launched Bynes’ career when she was ten-years-old has been trying to reach her. Even though she went through a massive public breakdown, a source said that they hope to find a way to “work with her again in a positive and healthy way,” adding, “She has a tremendous amount of talent.”
To review, Amanda got a DUI in 2012. That set her on a downward spiral that included unhinged Twitter rants and ended with a psychiatric hold in 2014. She resurfaced in 2015 on a red carpet in Los Angeles, and recently completed her second year at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Orange County, California.
Nickelodeon isn’t commenting on this, but another source said, “We love Amanda, but it’s not true.” We’ll keep you posted…
