A ship’s crew was forced to abandon the ship after a fire broke out during its journey.
The Felicity Ace left Germany was on its way to Rhode Island, with around 1,100 Porsches on its manifest, along with some Volkswagen automobiles.
The Portuguese navy assisted with the rescue of 22 crew members, who are now in hotels 100 miles away from the ship…as the ship remains adrift in the Atlantic.
Customers expecting their new rides have been advised to communicate with their dealers on the status of their cars.
