It’s an injury you rarely hear about in the Olympics, and it happened to Finnish skier Remi Lindholm.
Due to frostbite concerns, organizers cut the length of his race from 50km to 30km.
Still, that was enough for Lindholm to get frostbitten in an extremely intimate location.
It took him an hour and 16 minutes to complete the race, and all he got to show for it was frostbite on his penis, even though he was wearing under-layers.
As this was the second time in his cross-country skiing career that he’s had frostbite on his wang, it’s probably a good idea for Finland’s skiing team take a good long look at the protective gear their athletes are sporting.
