Russian Troops Try Their Luck On Ukrainian Tinder

Russian troops seem to be taking the phrase "sleeping with the enemy" very literally.

Ukrainian women in the city of Kharkiv were bombarded with likes and messages from Russian soldiers on the dating app Tinder.

One thing the flirty soldiers didn't consider is that the app is location-based.

The would-be romantics ended up giving away their military positions.

Many of the profiles also showed the soldiers in some form of combat gear.

The "love bombing" continued until Russian troops were ordered to shut off their phones prior to Thursday's invasion.
