Two Livingston Parish, Louisiana deputies pulled over a tow truck driver, and when they searched the vehicle the driver’s ‘pet feral squirrel’ lunged onto the back of one of the deputies.
After several minutes of running in circles and swatting at the animal until they finally got the animal back into its cage.
Details about the search and arrest haven’t been released, but video of the stop has been posted to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, leading to comments like “Who keeps an attack squirrel? That’s meth’d up!” and “That’s nuts.”
