A historic three-story home in Ohio built in the 1870s is on the auction block and could go for as little as one dollar.
Auditor George Kaitsa says the opening bid on the home north of Columbus will start at more than 150-thousand-dollars owed in back taxes.
If no one bids, it will decrease and could fall to as low as a dollar plus recording and deed fees.
Built around 1870 and once used as a nursing home and a frat house by Ohio Wesleyan University, the home has been vacant for over a decade.
The property will go up for auction on March 15th.
