Dolly Parton is bowing out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Parton wrote on Twitter she doesn't feel she has earned the right to be elected.
The singer added she doesn't want voters to be split from other nominees because of her. However, Parton said she hopes to be reconsidered by the Hall in the future if she is "ever worthy."
She said she has been inspired to put out a rock and roll album in the future.
