A Florida judge is permanently blocking the release of comedian Bob Saget's death records.
Saget's family filed a lawsuit in Florida against Orange County Sheriff John Mina and the District Nine medical examiner's office to block the release of his records, which the family says would cause "extreme mental pain" and emotional distress.
The lawsuit also found Saget's death investigation included audio and video recordings that "graphically depict" Saget and his likeness. The motion was originally temporarily blocked, with the move now permanent.
A statement on behalf of Saget’s family says "The entire Saget family is grateful that the judge granted their request for an injunction to preserve Bob's dignity, as well as their privacy rights, especially after suffering this unexpected and tragic loss.”
