A Summit County 5th grader is being called a hero today after taking quick action when his school bus driver suffered a medical event.
The driver was taking students from Twinsburg City Schools' Dodge Intermediate School home on Thursday when they suffered the episode.
A district spokesperson says that young Sujaan Singh saw what was going on, jumped up, and hit the bus's brakes.
The bus went up over a curb but stopped just shy of hitting a streetlight.
No students were hurt and there has been no word on the condition of the bus driver.
